Joe is an Atlanta native who found his way west to Steamboat Springs, CO, after growing up a true southerner. He graduated from Indiana University with the idea of heading to law school, but after a year at a D.C. law firm his interest shifted to roles that took him outside and in a position to show that world to others.
After a long career with Backroads, Joe started Iconic with just that idea — creating a company that could bring exceptional customer service and unparalleled travel knowledge to a wide range of organizations and individuals. After 12 years he continues to love the design side of travel and getting out on trips to see them come to life, and is even more excited to show his kids the power that travel can bring.
