Rebecca was born and educated in the Windy City of Chicago. A career in adventure travel and quality of life prompted her move out west to California where the surroundings were pretty ideal. But California wasn’t forever and she now resides in an idyllic Canadian mountain town where city life conveniences are hours away and sometimes her best travel day is from her home office to her favorite cafe. She has spent the last 18+ years working in the tourism and hospitality sectors. In a previous life, she worked for Relais & Chateaux properties alongside five-star Michelin Chefs and Master Sommeliers. During university, she worked for Coach Mike Ditka and if you know, then you know. Da Bears. She has been thriving at Iconic Adventures since 2017 and currently directs our charity bike events in Europe, Japan and Latin America. 

 

Rebecca believes we can create a travel experience wherever we are. She loves sleeping in a tent, a good dance party, the rare dress up, living to tell a good bear encounter story, and risks that do not involve avalanches or wing suits. She has read more books by Haruki Murakami than any other author and is especially passionate about respecting mother nature and maintaining a humble attitude. She has very little time for shopping for anything but food.
